Supernatural abilities and moral principles

Many children write compositions at school on the topic "If I were a magician". This is a good way to check children's moral values, life aims, kind-heartedness and responsiveness. Many practical and pragmatic people consider these compositions to be useless, as there are no magicians in reality. They claim that school curriculum is overloaded with unnecessary topics and subjects and these compositions are additional argument, which proves the uselessness of school curriculum. These people are mistaken. They don't take into account the fact that so-called magicians do exist. They are not sorcerers in the true sense of this word. They are people with supernatural abilities. They are real and live among us.

Another question is whether these people are dangerous or not. We can't give a single answer to this question. Some of them are dangerous and use their abilities to make harm to people. Others are inoffensive and participate in different shows and entertaining programmes.

Let's begin with law-abiding people with supernatural abilities. The best way for them to demonstrate their abilities is to take part in different contests, variety shows, etc. For example, if they can steal things or cheat in a game, the only way to use their skills legally is to demonstrate these skills to public and amaze people. If they can perform magic, the same. But if they use their artistic and magic qualities for evil purposes they immediately turn into criminals.

We have come to the problem of moral choice. If a person has supernatural abilities and puts them to evil ends, it means that he/she abuses his/her natural gifts and it is very sad when we come across such people.

This kind of people is in general bear more responsibilities before mankind. They must think over their abilities very seriously. They must ask themselves why they possess them and for what purpose they should use them. The more abilities and talents a person possesses, the more responsible he/she is for his/her actions. If you are a talented hacker, you may get access to secret information and thus become a living threat to the whole mankind. The best way to use your hacker skills is to get a job at some antihacker organisation or to become a valuable computer specialist and make good for people. It is always pleasant to realise that you work in a good cause. Mind it and don't act against your conscience. It will turn out badly by all means. There are laws of conscience, an inner voice and universal justice.
